We have two different size storage units available:

The minimum storage period is 1 week.
We offer 24/7 FREE access – so you can access your self-storage unit at any time of the day or night, any day of the week – all 365 days of the year!
No, there are no deposits. You’ll be charged from your move-in date until your leave date and charge monthly.
We take payment by bank transfer. For long-term rentals, we can take payment by a monthly standing order.
Yes. You must arrange your own contents insurance to cover your goods whilst on site at Southdown Storage.
No – you do not have to book a time to access your unit.
We offer 24/7 FREE access, all 365 days of the year.
You can cancel your booking of a storage unit up to 1 week before the booking arrival date.

You can either supply your own padlock or we have padlocks available for you to purchase at an extra cost. This means you will be the only key holder giving you peace of mind that your possessions will be accessible by only you.
Yes you can. The loading area is spacious and will allow you to drive up to your container doors to load and unload.
An additional benefit is that all of our self-storage units are at ground level for ease of access.
Yes we do. If you would like to arrange to use a forklift, please give us a call in advance of your visit and let us know when you are coming and we can arrange.
While there is abundance of items you can store, there are certain items you aren’t allowed to store in our units. See our list of prohibited items
Our units are constructed from solid steel with hardwood floors and ventilation. Padlocked and protected by 24/7 CCTV, you can have peace of mind that your belongings will be safe and protected from harm and the elements.
An additional security benefit is that we live on site.
